Don't feel too bad. I would be willing to bet money that I am the first person in the United States to get in an accident in a 2007 Yaris. I knocked the mirror clean off and everything, haha. New car... took it right to the body shop. I won't let my friends touch her.

If its not really deep you could by some Turtle wax and wax or buff her up...otherwise take it to a body shop and ask. I have a black car as well (no not Yaris) but anyway I acciedently scraped the side behind the back wheel...I waxed it up and it not a noticable as much...guess it depends on how much money you want to spend and how far you would go for a scratch like yours...I'm sorry to hear about that, its disrespectful to do that to someone.
Good luck and keep us posted!

I bought mine on May 1. On May 2, my first commute in the Yaris LB (going through downtown Los Angeles at 6:30 AM), a guy in a 3xx BMW thought he was better than three of us in the right lane and decided to pass us where there was only a narrow shoulder. I heard him but could not see him until he was on my right side, scraping it from front to back. I found out how fast the Yaris could go!!!and chased him down as he tried to speed off the freeway. I waved my cell phone out my window as I took pictures of his car and he pulled over. We exchanged info, me ranting at him the whole time. His insurance company paid US$1,100 to fix my car. After eleven days in the shop (and me driving a ^$^*)*)(*()*() little Kia), it was as good as new. |

Hahahahaha. Touche man. I can't even believe you kept up with a bimmer in a Yaris. My Mom has had a 328i and a 325xi, and they were easily two of the fastest stock cars I had ever experienced. Makes me feel a little better, though...

Didn't get keyed, almost keyed someone else...
Parked in an underground structure, left, did my thing etc... Came back, and 2 Altimas boxed me in to the left, and right... Mind you, I parked in a compact spot... So did they! No way I could go in through the driver's side, had to go in through the passenger side. I'm a tall dude, 6'3... I almost went in for the kill shot, when I stopped, took a breath... and let it go.... It's the whole Karma thing that got me... FYI Altimas are not compact! |

I do have to say I'm tempted everytime some jackass decides to park his car at an angle and take up two spots.
