Redline Shift Boots cover..Cant get it to fit - Toyota Yaris Forums

I have try to no end to make this fit..
I read this thread where they got the same package as me.but It will not fit
I got the e-brake to fit no problem a muscle and it's good..

But I think redline send me the wrong item..i think?
Look how smal the ring is ..pictures below..this set is for the XB as stated before??

Can you see how small the base of the boot is..how did you you guys from this thread make it work??( echo_hrs** eTiMaGo**bigsky2 ??

I must be doing something really wrong I tried for about 20mins to get it in place..I did want to break the ring..Darn

It took me a while, and very sore fingers, but yes, you can bend it into the same shape, it'll end up very slightly larger so it'll be a nice tight fit. Just be patient and strong-fingered
