New Recaro Seats

So here guys,After a year daily driving my yaris,i wasnt 100% happy with the OEM seats so i bought some DC2 Recaro seats off a Integra Type R, they offer better supports and thats exactly what i was going for.

At first when i bought them they we're pretty dirty, no rips no burns but dirty, So i used a mix of Zero for delicate material and water,Heres a picture of when i got em

So once they we're cleaned up, only got the driver side on picture

So i removed the Passenger seat, yeah i know its pretty messy,I'll clean it up when springs comes

Then i took the stock seat rail

I had one of my friend who works at a metal/welding shop fab this metal plates for me, the rails bolt on it then the plates bolt on to the seats

So now ive ran into a problem, while taking off the passenger seat everything went so well, on the other hand the driver side had already a torx bolt stripped, and i stripped another one, so.. I'll need to wait until i can get my hands on the right tools to get over this problem.
So at the moment im still riding with only one front seat, the oem one

I think the red DC2 will go good with my Konig Britelight reds, Oh and also i got some Tanabe Sustec to install too

Nice. I'd like some black Recaro seats for mine. Take some pics once everything is installed.

You can also try to find regular bolts that will fit that thread pitch. Just take one of those torx bolts to Home Depot (or any other hardware store), and go to the hardware section. Find their bolt thread pitch testing panel, and see which pitch it is. Then simply find and buy some replacement bolts of the size you want to use.

@Kaotic For sure ill take some pics when they are in, i asked one of my friend to help me get the stripped torx out but we have to wait next week.Once they are out i'll buy some better bolts for the seats because the Torx are a PITA.Around here theres alot of JDM shops who sell any kind of seats, The black recaros goes for around 800$ a pair.

I hate how seats are so expensive. lol. You can get a stripped/rounded bolt removal kit. ;)

Yes indeed the are expensive, but in my case, its worth every penny, At the moment they are used as Xbox gaming seats lol but once they will be in the car its gonna be waaay more worth it.

Beautiful mate. I would suggest making something else red though as at the moment it kinda hurts your eyes looking at it. I would suggest changing the door fabric to red and the centre console?

Thanks alot guys for the great comments! I like them alot, I would never go back to stock now that i have these :P

@ 1.5 If you can get your hands on some, Do It! you wont regret for sure!IMO its a huge improvement over stock.

@SilverSquash! Unfortunately i dont, where i live we have laws about when you can remove your winter tires. so i wont have pics until then, but i will surely take some when the time comes.

No problem vten, and also TPA5 or anyone if you get vten's seats you get the rail with them (correct me vten if im wrong) So you wont have to get the rails of the oem seats, which is quite a b**ch, Also, 800$ for seats, rails and the module is really a good deal, i paid the pair 700$, had to fu*k up my oem seats to get the rails, had to get some plates fabbed up too.

I LOVE my recaros
