Damn, wish I lived in houston. If I did then the navy would pay 100% of my college, but here in Oklahoma they only pay 50%. Only problem is I don't know anyone there and have no job there haha. They would give me $750 a month for housing there too!! Sucks. lol.

prohibit are you active duty? when i was in they payed 100% in only some areas but not too long after i got out i thought they changed it to 100% everywhere.

also i'd like to make this but the date is too far away to know for sure at the moment.

I am getting this money from the Post 9/11 GI Bill. I'm entitled to 50% but texas cost of living is more than oklahoma so I get more for housing.

Also, the amount of money they give per credit hour differs from state to state depending on how many private schools the state has. In Oklahoma I get $160 a credit hour. My school costs like $460 a credit hour. In houston I get $1,000+ per credit hour and the school I would transfer to also only costs $460 per credit hour.

oooh... i see. sounds complicated. i have the old school GI Bill and Navy College Fund. i'm pretty sure they pay me the same no matter where i go. only based on whether i take full time, 3/4 time, or 1/2 time.

Yeah.. I have to be full time with the post 9/11 bill. I work 60 hours a week and go to school full time.. zzzz.... So what was your rate?
