exhaust system
ok so its obvious i can gain a lil hp and some mpg out of a free-er flowing exhaust..thats just the nature of an engine period
but theres dozens of headers out there...so many that i question if theres any reason to bay extra for X name brand the big kicker i noticed was the restriction tward the back when the pipe sizes down before the can.... i own a bender so ill make my own pipes under the car..ive got some milspec cats from another project so thats handled too...the real kicker is going to be finding a can i like that doesnt sound like rice.......to be honest im considering running the stocker with a bypass valve connected to the throttle ie more throttle more bypass with all that said..what do i need to look out for or watch for when it comes to headers.....im not sold on paying extra for a name if something else is just as good...im not looking for "top end" idealy id like to see more bottom end ...ie loads and hill power and what size pipe...as i know too big can hurt |
