Flasher Indicator Volume
Please can anyone assist with increasing the volume on my 2010 Yaris Indicator flasher unit. The problem starts with the fact that unless I am making a really positive turn the indicators do not always cancel. The volume of the flasher unit is so low that I cannot hear it particularly if the radio is on. Other drivers then see my indicators flashing, think I will be making a turn and pull out in front of me - very dangerous. I have bought a standard audible flasher relay which may or may not be compatible but I cannot locate the relay on my RH drive Yaris.
A variable volume control on flasher units is an issue Toyota might like to address on future cars as not all drivers have full hearing and the dasboard flashers are not in eyeline to be seen |
