My 6500k H4 HID Review [pics]
FYI - THESE HAVE BEEN REPLACED BY AN EAGLEYE KIT! *** THE LAST FEW PAGES ARE ALL IN REFERENCE TO THE NEWER KIT! *** THIS NEXUN IS NO LONGER BEING SOLD/PUSHED BY ME!
Well over the weeks, lots have asked about what HIDs I am using, and after ample testing for my friend that's the supplier, here goes my review. Please READ, as many questions can be answered below in my review. Now, the H4 HID kit I am using, is a single H4 kit. Meaning it is ONLY a low beam kit. For those needing a high beam to pass inspection, but rather a single HID kit, no problem. By disconnecting ONE wire harness plug, and removing the HID bulb, you can swap your stock halogen bulb in, reconnect the original plug side, and pass inspection. A simple 5 minute fix for when needed. I never flash my High beams, so for me, a single only kit wasn't an issue. For those wanting both a High & Low beam, and not wanting to be bothered with the mentioned above, fear not! My buddy has H4 High/Low HID kits, but as with anything additional, so is the price. Install is exactly the same, only difference is a tiny super bright halogen bulb thats attached to the H4 housing... it sits just above the HID itself. My kit is made by Nuxen, and to describe the color, I would have to say bright white, with just a HINT of purple in the mix. The color is listed as a 6500k, but it is more like a true 6000k with the extra hint of the purple. Keep in mind, beam Cut Off is VERY important with an aftermarket HID kit, in a non-factory HID headlight housing! This will keep you from blinding other drivers, and help you put the light where its needed most... not splattered all over the highway! My kit in the pictures has a special low price being run right now, PM me on PRICING. Keep in mind, unlike all the cheesy HID kits you see listed on eBay, these H4 kits come with a ONE YEAR Warrenty, and all weather proof connections are plug & play, to avoid any confusion during install. It is a very easy install. *NOTE*, those with Day Time Running Lights, will first have to Disable them! Follow the link - http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=894 On to the pictures.
