........On my mother's father's side my great-great and great-great-geat grandfathers came to San Francisco early in 1848 from Bennington, Vermont (each generation on that side of the family got married VERY late in life). At least one family member is buried in Bennington, in the same cemetery where Robert Frost is buried. My aunt and uncle found the family plot while on a trip in the late 1980s, but didn't take a picture. I found the cemetery in either 2006 or 2007 (can't remember which) and had my aunt on my cell phone trying to 'walk' me to the right location. She remembered quite a bit, considering the memory of the visit was almost 20 years old. I found Robert Frost's grave, but never did find our plot (and I have a very good sense of direction, as does my aunt...we both inherited that from my grandfather (on that side of the family), and the three of us are the only ones in the family who love to drive).
