Performance Sugestions
I just got a 2016 Yaris hatchback. I would like to increase the performance and sound a little.
I am interested in any suggestions you all may have. I was thinking about getting a cold air intake and some performance exhaust system. Any recommendations on either of these two items? I want it to sound more like the cars on the fast and furious. Would you all recommend any other modifications? I still need this to be a daily driver and have decent mpg. I am just trying to make it a little more fun |

I'd worry about the sound last, a loud car that looks stock cries out "please look at me".
Work on flow mods ie: 1zz TB, microimage intake manifold (if you can find one), cai, dc header, and then get a cat back custom exhaust made from a reputable shop. For handling performance get wiider rims with a better offset, lowering springs, red rear sway bar, bilstein b8 shocks/struts and better tires. Your car will then look as fast as it feels ;)

Light rims will probably be your biggest performance gain for the $$$.

Check out my signature, those are the mods I have done to my Yaris and the sound has changed along with the vehicles performance.

Thanks for your response. Did the Pedal Commader throttle controller actually improve anything? I've heard mixed reviews on them.

So the Pedal Commander does not make the car faster or increase power. But it does make the gas pedal more sensitive, you'll feel the car more responsive.
