The TigerTec's are what, 4.0kg in the front and 3.0kg in the rear. No doubt the stiffest front springs on the market. The S.Tech's are 3.0 in the front and 3.5 kg in the rear.

Youngxlos, if you have a sedan, all specs will be actually greater, meaning more of a drop. The S.Tech's are 1.9" for the LB, but they're at least 2" for the sedans.

AdeJong, Progress is also the same drop at TRD, same quality, and far less money. You really will be paying for the brand name only (and the red color) if you buy TRD springs. I know, I've had them on my car.

Tanabes are NOT bouncy on the Yaris.

what kind of set up did you have in the car with the trds? how was the ride?

i wanted to get all of the trd suspension in order to avoid voiding the warranty

i wonder what the spring rates are between progress and trd

My friend has the TRD suspension minus the sway bar. It's somewhat stiff, but no where near TRD shocks and S.Tech springs. lol.

so it rides pretty well? im totally over bumpy race suspension but was a drop and better handling so i was hoping full trd suspension would be that compromise.

i got a coupon for 20% off TRD accessories from my local dealership so im going to get the springs, shocks, and sway at the same time

I just wanted to clarify something. Is that a pic of your yaris with the TigerTec springs Kaotic? If so, expect a purchase from me soon Garm!

I think it rides pretty well, but it could be stiffer, but then again, all lowering springs for the Yaris can be stiffer.

I'm sorry, my mistake. I thought I had put in "LB with S.Tech's". My car is on TRD Sportivo shocks and Tein S.Tech's.

well i have a 2 door hatch, so i guess 1.9 is not bad.
i might add a lip later down the road, if i feel its rubbing ill probably just get coilovers and adjust the height so the lip can clear things.
thanks for all the info Kaotic

I have S Techs on stock suspension and they are great as far as driving is concerned. No bounce, they handle well when coupled with a decent tire. My only gripe is they cant be an almost 2" drop. Heres mine.
