I can't stand how the automakers are doing that bulging thing with the poly casings on the headlamp and tail lamp housings now....ick

Like the front a lot, especially the grille. It looks a lot better than the grille on the refreshed Corolla we're getting here (pics). That said, I just don't get what they're trying to do with the rear lights- they look just too busy and plain ugly to me.

the taillights are too... technical it looks bad and squishy.
The grille is by far the best part with the hood if you ask me.

Here is the general problem with all of Toyota's line up. They are attempting to appeal with a whacked attempt at a sporty look with all of them since they are not providing any serious performance rigs. With this poor choice in how to approach things they are trying too hard IMHO to try and trick up the blah and boring body styles the most like the Corolla and the Camry not to mention the Venza even. Now I know that I might get flamed for my statements, but I can live with that. The people buying a Corolla wanting a sporty look are those that are unsatisfied with the offerings from other vendors in my view and the Corolla will give them the legendary Toyota quality while attempting to not look so bland. I feel that the body lines are too drastic to include all of the front and hood. To me with all of the humps in the body lines it would remind me of a pile of shaving cream that has sat around for an hour....one hump level going down to another hump level, etc.

I see the S model here in Canada 24/7. I will hopefully upgrade to a corolla from Yaris in the future depending how it goes with my friend.

IMO, the Corolla just doesn't work without the S bodykit. It's essential . In contrast, Toyota severely limited the Yaris S for some reason. Besides my S, I only see a Yaris S maybe once a month out of 100's of regular Yaris's. And just as the Corolla, the Yaris benefits greatly from the kit. |

Don't like the new grille or the front and rear lights. Love Corollas but never cared for the Corolla S model.
