If I were you... I wouldnt put that thing in, heres why:

first is it takes more movement and steps to start your engine, unless you have a car without a key "which is NOT the Yaris". number two. its hard to find a place for it with your Yaris because of all the storage. number three. its very annoying when you get one installed because if you press it again it will shut your engine off. and finally I drove an S2000 about a year ago when one of my friends couldn't parallel park her car and I have to do it.

I had to insert the engine put it into ON and then press the button for about 3seconds, then I didnt know the car started so I pressed it again then it shut off "damn!" so then I started it again... Its a pain in the ass but i does look nicE!

Yeah it's really only useful if you have the whole keyless entry system. Press once to turn on the accessory power (like twisting the normal key), and a second time to start the engine.

As for placement, there is a spot just for it (unless it is not present in the RHD version?), as this comes standard in many versions in other countries.

MMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm... wireless fob. My buddy's Prius has it. I know they make it for the Vitz in Japan, but I doubt it will get exported to North America.

There is a round empty switch near where you insert the keys on the RHD model...

It sure would be neat to have, maybe down the road if a better made product comes available, or the Japan version could be shipped over here.

if you made a simple RFID keychain, you could have it set to open the doors and start with the button being pushed, my alarm has a similar system but it only arms or disarms, i could very easily wire it to start as well

you also have to remember that you need to figure out how to unlock the steering wheel if you want to do away with the key all together.

Why bother doing this, just turn the key and let go, the starter keeps going for 20 seconds or until the engine turns, what ever comes first, just as easy as big red button isnt it?

Why do we mod at all? People like different things and there are many mods I wonder why people do, but it all comes down to prefs and $. We should all respect the mods our fellow yari do

Oh man but it takes so much effort to take the key out of your pocket, find the key hole (especially in the dark), AND have to twist it?

If you have keyless entry as well, it's useful in the regards that you don't have to take the key out of your pocket, just get in, press a button twice, and off you go...

well, the car has a sensor that can tell if you are carrying the special key with you or not...

Or else, yeah, it would be too darn easy to steal!!!
