Where to buy an axle back for 07 Sedan?
Hi,
I drive a 2007 Yaris sedan with only 65k miles. I want to make driving more fun My friend has a magnaflow on his Corolla and he got a $90 ticket, so not too loud. Any shop recommendations in the Washington DC/ Northern Virginia area? Should I buy from online (Amazon, Ebay..) and have a shop install it? If so any links? I appreciate your help. |

I have the same muffler, got it at summitracing.com IIRC... Fits the LB really well. Should work OK with sedans as well.

Thank you for replying tk.
I did more research and found largeorangefont's thread. "I used a 2 inch Imco Turbo series muffler part# T-934. It is a center inlet / offset outlet. The Muffler core is 12" X 7 3/4" X 3 1/4". The total muffler length is 16", and the tip is 2" tubing with a slash cut." And it is $40 including shipping on http://www.summitracing.com/parts/imo-t934/overview/ Anyone know if it will definitely work with the 07 Sedan? before I bring it to Midas to install it... Thanks Last edited by 2007yariz; 02-23-2014 at 10:31 PM. |

I'm positive that it will fit your car. Whether vertically or horizontally is the real issue.
It's pretty small, so I think you'll be able to fit it vertically on the sedan too.

It's obviously a little louder than OEM at higher RPMs, although it's surprisingly quiet in the lower range. I'm pretty sure you'll like the result.

I think I might have one or two axle-back exhausts left for the sedan in stock. That would be simple bolt-on, not a custom exhaust.
