Will Tesla style head unit fit onto Yaris 2008?
I've a small android head unit currently and plan to upgrade to Tesla style. Will it fit though?

I doubt it, but to find out you'd need the dimensions of the unit and compare to the available space in the yaris center console.

In an '08 the opening is "2 din". Any 2 din unit can fit in there. It's just a matter of wiring and installation kit.

You could in fact install a SBC (single board computer) Arduino, Raspberry PI, Pine64, etc remotely and run cables to a 7" touch screen in that 2 din spot.

The question might be a bit over the top. But have you considered buying tesla? You can buy a used one. The Teslas age quite well and nothing happens to batteries after long use. In addition to that new Teslas offer quite loyal leasing options. Search the tesla model 3 for sale . I bet you will find pretty good deals, here especially tesla model 3 for sale
