Where I can install the GPS external antenna for Yaris Sedan 2007
Hi Guys,
just a stupid question from a noob person I just bought a DVD with GPS function from e-bay and just wondering where I can install the GPS external antenna to make the GPS function work. On dashboard, windscreen or some other places? And if you guys know about it, would you please give me the tutorial how to install it as well? Thanks.. and hope to hear some suggestion from the pros... |

When I put the GPS antenna in my liftback, I put it in the empty area over the vents and under the dash. GPS antennas were meant to be placed here, and I get excellent reception. See pages 13 and 14 of the link below. (This document is for a European model factory-installed head unit with GPS, but it should give you a good idea of where to put the antenna).
