Question are P185/70-14 tires too big for Yaris Sedan?

just wondering as I have factory P175/65-14 now and was wondering about clearances and stuff like that?

thanks in advance

The 185s will be 1 and a quarter inches bigger than the stock 175s. Will give less off-the-line grunt, but may improve comfort and long-haul driving.
Interferemce? I'll leave that call for Kimona.

No, but the 70's will be kinda beefy looking.

I dought it considering my 175/65/14 winter set-up are far smaller than the stock 185/60/15's by about 1" total hieght.

My suggestion, go to TireRack.com and find your stock tire or another of similar size. Click on spec's and see the chart for it's diameter. Then find the tire you wish to change to and do the same. Keep in mind that actual measurements vary from manf. to manf. for the same size. Try to find the spec.'s for your actual brands of each size.
Anything close will work but keep in mind the difference will throw off you speedo and odometer accuracy. You can use a GPS unit to find your actual speed.
