Transmission fluid level
Hello. I am having problems reading my transmission fluid dipstick. Sounds stupid, I know. So the problem is, the fluid level doesn't cover the entire stick. Like it has fluid scattered all over the stick so it's not readable. I had Toyota change the fluid and I'm not sure if its so low to the point that its not readable or if I'm doing something wrong. How should the levels look on a normal reading of the dipstick?

Wipe it, stick it back in, pull it back out, and then read it.

I added 1/2 a quart, and then had Toyota look at it and the level was just at the bottom of the notch that said hot. I am guessing that is good enough in terms of enough fluid being in there.
