Spoiler color

So I bought the spoiler for my 07HB from over at microimage.
but now I can't decide what color I should paint it.
Debating between gloss black, flat black, and body color.

I suppose I could go for the same green as my emblems are painted but I think it would be to much.

picture are for what my car looks like and for emblem color.

Let me know what you all think would look best.

Are the tails smoked or not? You have two different pictures going on there.

What does the spoiler look like?
Anyway, I say body color.
If you're on a budget then either of the blacks.

I have the same color as you. I painted my spoiler dark grey, but only because I also painted the roof the same color. I would go OEM color in your case.

I'd match the paint... and redo the emblems in black.

The tails are smoked I just didn't have a good picture of the emblems after I did that.
I like Cali's suggestion.

Does anyone have experience painting this color without doing it professionally? I want it to look good and am willing to take my time and wetsand if I need to but I just don't want to pay someone to paint it.

i say body color. you can do black as well, but id rather the gloss over the flat.

green: you'll get tired of it in a few months time, id say.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I would hate green pretty quickly.
I am thinking body color with black tips would look great.

Go to AutomotiveTouchUp.com and get a can or two of your color, along with a can of clearcoat. YW users have been buying those for years with no bad results so far (that I know of).

here's how you do it:
1) wet sand ALL of it with 600 grit
2) 1st 2 sprays > very light coat, don't redo what was missed in the same round.
3) 3rd spray and 4th > normal thickness, don't redo what was missed in the same round
4) clear coat 3 sprays, all normal thickness
5) wet sand with 1500 or 1200grit
6) rubbing compound time for shine

2 things: never have a thick spray, either normal or light only. and spray from left to right or vice versa, no stopping in the middle (no letting go of and repressing the spray can button in the middle)

If I am also wanting to do touchups in several other areas would it be better to just have a friend who does painting do it all at once?

If not what clear coat from Automotive do you guys use?
