New Radio
I installed a radio in my car (2010 Yaris LB). Several of the wire clusters plugged right into a cluster to drive them all to one attachment point, however there is one cluster that doesn’t have anywhere to connect. I read this may not be a big deal, but sometimes (not always) when I turn my headlights on, my radio turns off and tries to turn back on repeatedly. I have added photos of everything the way it’s connected.

Option 2: You can connect the illumination wire to the dimmer wire of your car. This will allow the radio display to dim when you turn on the headlights, but you will need to find the dimmer wire of your car and splice it with the illumination wire of the radio. You can use a wiring diagram or a test light to locate the dimmer wire of your car. Last edited by RobertGarcia; 03-11-2024 at 09:06 PM. |
