exhaust?

well i've just now had time to start doing adjustments to my car, but after researching, and looking up different websites, I often find myself indecisive with which exhaust system is really available with the 2007 Yaris S Sedan

anyone know what exhaust is best for my car?

Id usually say search as well but im way too boried at work

so heres a few that will fit teh yaris

Tanabe medallion

Greddy ti-c

tanabe g spec

HKS hi power

Thunder axle back

Megan racing axleback

All of the above are axle back so the bolt on to the last piece of pipe before the muffler so its not a full catback but its an easy install

Now of course custom exhgaust done by a shop is the ebst bang for the buck and offers the most personability i,e, size muffler etc etc. Go mendrel bent ig you can

And dont ask me about performance gains/losses i dont believe anything bout gains or lossses in the yaris in correlation to exhaust til i see a before and after dyno

BTW i recommend tanabe medallion

looks good

mellow tone

not too loud

made in japan

cheers and welcome

I'd personally have a cat-back or resonator-back custom made. It'll be roughly the same price as any axle-back muffler. Take a look at my custom resonator back for my sedan.

hmm

well when you guys say custom exhaust, does that mean that i have to go to a specific dealership just to get it installed?

there is a muffler shop here in virginia beach, and they mainly specialize in magnaflow performance exhausts.

there is one available from magnaflow as seen here:

http://magnaflowplus.com/ShowItem/10...drel-Bent.aspx

it's specifically made for the yaris s sedan so fitting wouldnt be a problem
but what worries me is how far way it is from the actual chamber itself
so im not sure how it would sound compared to all the other, normal looking exhausts

legato, there are 2 axlebacks for the sedan that i know of. Nitto(microimageonline) and TRD.
There is also a catback (as you mentioned) for sale by magnaflow, being sold by never enough, a YW vendor.

Although not the same muffler model, mine is a Magnaflow. Might give you an idea of what it would sound like.

I don't have a sedan, but I have the Nitto exhaust on my car. Really nice, deep tone, and it looks awesome.

All of the brands about make great exhausts for the yaris. The Megan Racing and Tanabe seem to be most popular.
