New tires installed 09 LB

Well exchanged the wheels i had before because of rubbing..Tiremax gave me a awesome deal of only having to pay 250.00 diff...previous was 205/55/16 now have 205/40/17 and no rubbing...What do you guys think of my choice..

So rare to see someone do chrome. BTW 205/55 was kinda tall for 16s.

38 if i remember correctly the fronts do stick out ever so slightly not enough for me to worry about..

yes and the admitted they made a mistake...gave me the deal for upgrading and lifetime balance and road hazard for free..

Oh, I know... I've done the math. I've written Excel spreadsheets to pump out all the numbers of plus-sized setups.

Good job on the nice deal though! Here... try this link... it's fun to play with.

Yes, however, OEM 17's are 205/45/17 which actually work much better than 205/40's with stock suspension.

Iam not running stock suspension i have the TRD springs installed..205/45's would have rubbed.

Exactly, 205/40/17's are a 1/2 inch short. No biggie. In fact if you ever lower it your Yaris then you made the right choice...

205/45's work well with TRD's if you run the correct offset wheels.

205/40's work best with DF's, for example.
