I want baby moons
Hello there! I'm obsessed with baby moons and I need them on my new, pre-loved yaris. If vw didn't pick the lamest lug pattern in existence, my yaris would definitely be sporting my 70 bug's wheels! I have 14s btw.
Anyway.. just wondering if it can be done and if so, has anyone done it? I saw the picture on this thread: http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39500 and freaked out a little because I briefly thought the pic was of a yaris. Thanks! Kayla |

That would be a good look on the Yaris. The easiest method would probably be to have someone weld tabs to the Yaris steelies to pop the baby moons onto.

Trim rings and baby moons would be awesome! Unfortunately, we need older style steel wheels to properly fit them.

I was hoping there was an easier way than welding. Maybe I can find a wheel with the same lug pattern that has nubs... hmm.

The welding piece for the tabs would be pretty easy. If I had a full set of steelies available I could do it for you, but unfortunately just have one left for sale.

google or ebay beetle hubcap clips. They make some you screw into the steelie rims that will hold the baby moons. New Beetle owners have been doing it for years to get that retro bug look

Nice! I just did a quick search, and that couldn't be an easier solution for someone looking to do baby moon - Drill and screw or rivet the clips and you're good to go...
