Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors....?
I'll probably buy some aftermarket wheels and tires for my '09.
I'll buy the package from the Tire Rack and will have them mount new TPMS sensors, since I want to keep the stock sensors in my stock wheels (which will eventually be fitted with snow tires). Someone told me that the Yaris and other Toyotas can't "learn" the new TMPS sensor signals and that the car has to be taken to a dealer in order it to accept the new sensors, not trigger a TPMS light, etc. Is this true? |
