LOL, great find!
I was half expecting CTScott to get out at the end. I am always curious to imagine the thought process in a situation like that.............................................. .."Yeah, yeah sure we can go down there, no problem" |

I was half expecting CTScott to get out at the end. Now that is funny ..Looks like the SUV behind them didn't make it though.

LOL. I actually did that with a Chrysler station wagon that belonged to the company that I worked for when I got out of college.

I can't believe it made it. Most cars would have started to float through that much water.

The key is to stay behind your wake, run into that wave in front of you and your chances of water-locking your engine increase dramatically. I used to cross water all the time in my Wrangler.
Sweet vid...I'd only have tried that if there were a zombie horde chasing me.

I don't know what people are thinking when they do this. Usually guarantees the car's death.
When I used to work at a dealership, I once saw a Mercedes Benz S-Class come in after splashing through maybe 6-10" of water. Basically a big puddle. Diagnosis? Totaled engine. You know how much an S-class engine freakin costs? ![]() As we all know of course, the S-Class isn't built nearly as well as the Yaris. Sadly, it's remarkably true when it comes to reliability.
