removing glue

Just got a set of windows visor off ebay. But that guy decided to put his own shop stupid stickers covering the Toyota logo. So no big deal, I start peeling off them. BUt they left some nasty glue on it that I cannot remove. Any good suggestion on solution that can easily remove glue residue without damaging the plastic visor?

Try heating it with a hair dryer or sticking it in the freezer for a while. Glues don't like temperature change

Aside from heating it get yourself some Goo-Gone. It'll take adhesive right off and won't harm plastic.

I've heard that WD-40 works for the glue residue left after de-badging the car.

Rubber cement thinner (or solvent) is a great adhesive remover. It is very mild and won't harm paint finishes. It is also a good cleaner. Bestine is one brand.

Maybe with tar remover and a knife.
