Adding camber to a daily driver will cause lots of uneven wear, which is just silly, but even if your car is a pure track setup that is simply too much camber in the rear. Professional racers rarely run with more than 3-4 degrees of negative camber for road courses but yours is at least 6 degrees.

Only use them if you are running wider wheels and wide rubber(205,215,etc). It's for the guys that rub alot of when they are lowered. You are using factory wheels, so ther is no need for them.

^ He has no 'need' for camber in the back either. I suspect he is just going for the 'look'.

^There's no 'need' for most of these mods people do on their cars. It will just 'look' silly if he has tucked in wheels with wild negative camber. Maybe he can get some beefier tires and some wheel spacers to fill in the wells, and it might work. Since he has so much room to work with in those fender wells, he could be the 1st person on this site to do the "positive camber" thing. Instead of the wheels sticking out, they will be poking in.

thx 330H I will def. look into it..

thx for the input marlondog, i am trying to create a low but "quality look" stance as those beemers on stancework. my dream wheel BBS RS or LMS in 15 or 16 inch sizes are not available on the used wheel market yet, if they do I will snatch them up right away hahaha... as if right now am just preparing for em.

next project is to get some cambers for my fronts :)

There is no need for camber adjustments to your daily driver. BTW, your car looks absolutely ridiculous with the adjustments you've already made to the rear, and you are asking for problems and added expense down the road.

have fun with tires.

you're gonna shred them.

you gotta slot the holes in the upper strut mount, or get a camber/caster kit

first things first - why not?

next: a little negative camber in front (way less than you show for the rear in your picture) is GOOD for handling and DOES NOT affect tire wear (up to -1.5 is true for this statement), no matter what tires and wheels you are running.

So much misinformation gets posted on here. :: sigh ::

anyways, front adjustable camber bolts for the Yaris:

Lower more and get some wide, low offset rims. Then it'll fit more.

the SPC shim kit comes with instructions, you basically snap off certain tabs to get the camber and toe you want, then mount it behind the wheel. It's a one-use plastic shim.

Do you have to disassemble the rear shocks and springs or is it something you can just jack up the rear of the car, put them in and lower it down?
