Yaris turned coke can

Driving down the highway last night, I came over a hill to find a car at a complete stop. I thought it was merely slowing down so I slowed to about 65mph just in time to realize the car was completely stopped. So I crushed my car on a rav4. Broken left patella and some scratches. I guess I got lucky, considering. Also, no airbag deployed which is ironic because I swapped out my aftermarket steering wheel to put my stock steering wheel back in for airbag reasons. Must not have connected it correctly. If I can go strip parts off it later I may be selling stuff. Like armrest, hatch cover, window visors and stuff. Anyways, this is what you have been waiting on...pictures.

Ouch! Glad to hear you are mostly OK.

Pretty scary that the airbag did not deploy. If you are going to part her out, it would be interesting to assess why it did not.

^^^^^Ditto. Amazing little cars. Some people viewing the 'coke can' result might guess that the driver didn't survive.

I did have a beer after it, which apparently is frowned on for 2 days after a concussion.

And yeah I was at fault, but I knew that from the start. I remember thinking, "dang, if nobody hits me right now, this is my fault." Very sad thing to think but insurance has a way of raping people.

Sorry to hear about the crash dude, I ran into a fence the other night(fell asleep at the wheels). I feel so bad as my poor Vitz looks mangled, the good news is that cars can be replaced and we lived to drive another day :)
