New Michelin Defender T/H size

We have a '08 hatchback

Time for new tires at 70K, and willing to pay the $$ for Michelin Defenders

Was planning to go one oversize to 195/60/15 hopefully for better ride quality on the horrible roads here, and to increase ride height about 1/2"
Have the 5 spoke aluminum alloy wheels.

Anyone else done this and is there any downside?

Speedo error negligent...
