for drinkers of timmy's
well some of you may already know how to do this, but it was recently brought to my attention and i thought it was sheer genius and figured i would share it.
although i love the placement of the cup holders in the yaris, the one thing that sucks is getting hot coffee spilt on your legs as you hit bumps in the road or take corners when using the traditional canadian tim horton's take-out cup, but this would probably apply for cups from many establishments, from around the world. so what you do is, when pulling up the tab on the lid, instead of snapping it back into it's designed placement, fold the lip of the tab under itself and push it under the lid itself. i hope that is easy to understand, if not, i could probably get some picks or draw a diagram. a full coffee WILL NOT spill and the coffee is just as drinkable. genius i tell you. maybe i'm the last canadian on earth to discover this, but there it is. |
