Will Debadge Soon

Hello Everyone,

I finally made the decision to debadge my Yaris after meeting another member of the forums, and seeing how clean the back looks. I'm just waiting for the fishing line to get home and the sun to come out

I will post pictures ASAP

Fishing lines are definitely a top choice, but you can accomplish the same result with dental floss or nylon reinforced threads (like the ones used to tie zippers to jackets and backpacks), which are both convenience store items. 2¢

Yeah get teady to rub the residue out. You might see a faint "shadow" of where the badges used to be but they go away with washes/time

Nothing that a little soapy water can't fix.

Why do so many people debadge? I happen to love the Toyota brand. I like the look of the emblems.

It's like having not one, but three tramp stamps...
The logo is ok (although the MI skull is even better), but everything else just looks like clutter to me (including the trunk release).

Isn't that a rebadge itself?

Didn't think that there was a Yaris Hybrid sold in the states in 2011 (or ever for that matter...).

tk-421 summed it up pretty nicely... (except maybe that skull part, but "different stokes for different folks," ya know?).

The reason why I like the skull is because it's not exactly the toyota logo but close enough. I have a blacked out version of the logo myself, but wouldn't mind having a badass black skull instead.

That Prius hybrid badge swap is also kinda neat BTW.
