Gary the Yaris

Been using YarisWorld for research for well over a year now, but figured its finally time to start posting some of our shenanigans.

I'm one of the team members from Garold Gareth "Gary" Wilson Jr. Racing. We have been competing in the 24 Hours of Lemons with our 2009 Yaris 3 door hatch with a 5-speed. We have run in two races so far and been mostly successful. Road Atlanta in December of 2024 and Carolina Motorsports Park this past April. Our next race will be at NCM Motorsports Park in September.

We prepped the car for our first race starting in the spring of 2024. We did all the necessary work, with exception of the roll cage. We had that done professionally, since that's kinda pretty important.

I'll be posting more pictures of the build, as well as little bit of the prep/mods for our upcoming race in the coming weeks. Already have a brake upgrade planned and some parts from Penguin Garage ready to install. In the meantime here are some videos of Gary. We also have some footage from Road Atlanta that hasn't been uploaded yet.
