My retrofit project

Got my parts in today for my retrofit. I'm gonna put these in the Vios headlights I have.

Everything

Lexus RX projectors

TSX clear lens

Morimoto 5000k D2S bulbs

Gatling gun shrouds

Denso ballasts

H4 wiring harness

I'm gonna start this on saturday.

About $500 for everything to do a complete retrofit. I'm gonna be using a set of Vios headlights for my retrofit.

Do you have pics of the Vios headlights, is there that much of a difference compared to your stock ones?

The only real difference is the clear reflector.

Stupid question, but, do you have enough room? Looks tight.

In any case, it should look nice.

Yes, there is enough room. These are one of the smallest projectors. I wanted the S2K projectors but they won't be out for another month or two. I'll probably have to trim the shrouds because they're so big but atleast I'll know they'll cover the projector.

Here is my progress so far. Lens removed, sealant removed, bowl removed and modified. Projector fits nicely to the rear of the bowl. I had to trim 1/4" from the shroud to clear part of the bowl. Here are some pics of my progress.

Modified reflector bowl

At this point, the factory adjustment knobs will still be functional. Not sure if they will be once everything is together.
