Tokico install question....

I just installed a set of rear tokico hts/ red dampers...the tokico dust cover does not work and the only way I could install was to use the factory dust cover...did I miss something ? Thanks

Sounds fine, that's what I did if I can remember it right. Did you make sure to clean off the shiny metal?

I did wipe it down with acetone...Thanks for reply,I think it's the only way to install them.
