glad to help out -- FYI everyone, I'll be putting various hoses and couplings up on the site shortly.

Just got back from test running the final air filter setup and the car runs great!

I was concerned that the MAF signalling might be impaired from cutting and trimming everything on the intake so dang short, but no CEL was triggered so it's good. There is absolutely no wiggle room for that giant air filter, and I'm sure glad that those silicone couplings are flexible because it wouldn't be there if they weren't.

We'll be there before you know it...

I picked Thursday because it will be the coolest day of the coming week with morning clouds and a high of 87.

The peak temprature doesn't hit until about 2 to 3 in the afternoon. I'm the first run scheduled at 11:00 in the morning when it should still be slightly overcast with temps in the high 70's...

...which is similar to the conditions of the baseline dyno runs which were 78 degrees and 45% humidity.

Thanks... It's a little more messy right now until I get some permanent locations for the hoses all worked out...

Fabricated a simple permanent mount for the radiator vent cap assembly and rerouted some of the hoses to better locations...

...so the area around the throttle body looks a little less cluttered.

4 days to dyno.

Tooter, I would recommend buying or borrowing a Scanguage before the dyno so you can monitor peak MAF readings as well as fuel trims (both long term and short term).

^ that's probably the best way to determine flow with either manifold on.

Hey Jeff,

What's a peak MAF reading, and why do I need it? And what are long term and short term fuel trims, and why do I need them?

Remember, you're talking to a dummy here.
