Mine was made right here in the Detroit of South East Asia :) That's Thailand BTW

There's definately no chip resistant paint under the lips on mine - I know this because the wife-unit ripped off the front lip (and half the frak'n bumper) a couple of weeks ago while reversing

Who knows though - could be badge-related too seeing as the lips on my model are stock affair.
