I've also seen people advise that you drill a hole on the underside of the tip so that water doesn't pool up inside it and cause it to rust / corrode. The universal ones at those local auto stores are pretty cheap compared to the Toyota branded tip and they look decent enough.
Anyone know if these exhaust tips really are universal (ie. just slide and bolt on)? |
