I literally said the same thing. "There's no way I'm putting any Megan products on any of my cars." However, I then thought to myself -- this is silly. If it's a quality product, it's a quality product. I was talking with the guys at the place I bought them, and I said I thought Megan stuff was, well, junk. And they said a lot of their earlier stuff was, and they mostly made strut bars, and such. However, these coilovers are made by the same factory that makes Buddy Club and Apexi coilovers.

Everywhere I've seen a discussion on the Megan coilovers, I've heard nothing but good. Lots of reviews on Honda-Tech, Infiniti G35s on Megans, etc.

I went almost 100% JDM stuff on my xB. Tein springs, Espelir Exhaust, A-Tech and Rays wheels, etc. However, when it comes down to it, if Megan makes a quality product, I don't care who (or where) it's made. I want performance, and the Megans are supposed to have that in spades, and aren't much more than the Teins. You just get more for your money. You might not get the "baller" MaD tYtE JDM brand association, but if it outperforms what's currently available for the Yaris, then that's fine with me. Although there are other adjustable suspensions on the market, they're a lot more expensive, and must be imported from Japan.

Now, I'm not ripping on the Teins – I'm sure they're great for daily use. However, I wanted something stiffer that was adjustable, especially for nearly $900.

I'm putting these in tomorrow (9/23), and will post pics and a review shortly thereafter.
