Standard FM radio does'nt work

Well sadly it is a 9 year old car. Things do have a tendency to break down (even Toyotas ). I suspect the radio just died... bad capacitor, an imperfect solder joint weakened by summer heat and vibration; it could be any thing, really. You should just get an aftermarket replacement. Good luck!
