It's CTScott's design. It's a forward-facing recessed scoop, a little bit of a nod to the Celica. Final details will be worked out on the prototype. I'll post up working pics as we go along, feedback is always welcome. So is encouragement, LOL.

Pretty sure we are going with just the one opening. A nice detail is that a parked car won't get too wet under the hood like existing vented designs do (including the one on my car).

With the height difference between the bottom and top of the hood, it should be possible to have the bottom of the scoop angled slightly towards the bumper, so that water drains down the bumper, rather than entering the scoop when the car is parked.
