As for the AC, shouldn't you be going to the service department for that rather than the sales rep? I bet he's just saying whatever to get you out, he doesn't care about after sales, that's not his job.

why wouldn't he take it to the service department? it IS a service/warranty issue...wtf is the salesman going to do?
