Manual with no tachometer tips
So I just got a 2009 Yaris 3 dr LB on Saturday and am trying to adjust to driving with no tachometer. I like the car so far. I was hoping to get some tips. When I can hear the engine it is no problem, but I am always listening to loud music when I drive, and I can't hear the engine when I do.
I drove a 01 Hyundai Accent for years and it drives way different. this is what I generally do: 25 mph - 3rd gear 25-40 mph - 4th gear above 40 mph - 5th gear Does that seem right or is there another method to get used to. I was thinking of getting an ecometer or scangauge but i read that there is a delay and can't be relied on as a tachometer. any advice would be great. |
