i've had both sets of the yokohamas and they were pretty similar. both were a night-and-day difference from the original goodyear eagle ls oem tires. i'm currently using the avid-s touring tires and love them! they are extremely quiet and comfortable. not super-sporty, but i don't drive that way.

the avid-trz were also a good tire, but they had one minor annoyance that bugged me all the time. there's a wide groove in middle, for water evacuation i believe, that would always get pebbles stuck in there. the loud 'clicking' noise would drive me nuts- thought i had driven over a nail!

i had pirellis on my old civic and they were ok, but overpriced. no experience with the other.
