Some pics with the air filter removed...
 You can see how close the throttle body and MAF sensor are to the stack.  And heres a video of the engine running... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQt2uJ7PYfQ There's not much intake noise even with the camera stuck up close. In the beginning the ECU was fishing around for an idle mixture trying to adjust to the open intake, but found its equilibrium by the end of the video.
