question about springs settling
I believe I found my answer on here that all new lowering springs settle a lot over the 2-4 weeks following installation and slower but even more settlement over the year.
I purchased the Eibach Prokit springs and Tokico "reds," all from Micro Image (thanks to Jeff and Garm). I installed them all today. I have the reds set to 2 full turns to SOFT from HARD and the car feels GREAT!!!!! 2 full turns make the car a tad softer than the hardest the struts and shocks can be.
My question is about the Eibach Pro springs, which have a stated drop for the front 1" and rear 1.25" per Micro Image's website.
At first impression, the car doesn't look that much lower, so I was curious if anyone else has Eibach's and pro struts/shocks and whether the settings on the Tokico's could limit the drop of the springs. I doubt this would be the case since struts and shocks just dampen and don't really limit riding height, but just curious.
Thanks for any thoughts.
