VHT flameproof series / Painting turbo manifold

Hey guys, I just bought some of the ''new'' flameproof paint from VHT.
http://www.vhtpaint.com/products/flameproof/

On paper it looks like a bad ass high heat paint, well it looks great but I never used it yet.

I have the flameproof primer, color coat & clear coat.

They are all rated the same very high heat tolerance; 1300F-2000F

I am actually wondering if I should prime and clear coat, or simply use the color coat...?? Maybe some of you guys have experiences with it and want to share your tough.

Im asking this because ''normally'' every conventional high heat paint is made to be applied directly on bare clean metal... no primer or clear are recommanded.
