When you're ready for shocks, save up some extra cash and get the Tokico "reds". They have adjustable dampening so you can turn up/down the firmness of your ride depending on what you're doing. I went with blues because they were less expensive, but there isn't an autoX event that goes by where I second guess that choice. If you want/need a winter setup, you can also get the OEM parts to complete the front suspension assembly and make the whole spring/shock modular. Just be sure to get the right tools for removing your OEM springs--the tension on those things can REALLY injure you when they come loose. |
