good to hear. for future reference, this has always been my advice re car problems: do the cheapest/easiest one to replace among all the possible culprits. this is, of course, if the possible culprits haven't been narrowed down. (e.g. in your case you sustained front damage, so you don't have to follow the same order below)
in this example (overheating problems): 1) check for leaks 2) bleed radiator 3) replace radiator cap 4) replace thermoswitch (if present) as thermostats goes bad much more rarely 5) replace thermostat 6) replace water pump (and do the timing belt/tensioner bearings if it's not a yaris and uses a belt rather than a chain) 7) replace the radiator 8) head gasket replacement Hope this helps. |
