The afe is a good intake, I was ready to pull the trigger on it but due to the ridiculously steep price tag I ended up buying a used trd from this forum. I wanted a short ram air for accessibility and less risk of water being sucked up.

I cut some pipe, used zip ties and voila, not as beautiful as the afe and no heat shield, but just as functional none the less.

With the DC Header the increase in torque at 1500-2000 rpm is awesome. The car no longer lags nearly as much on early shifts of 2000rpm.

I'd highly recommend the DC Header next and then look into the intake mani and 1zz TB (that's my plan for next summer)

This car is a blast to drive if you put some Money and tlc into it

BTW Garm, your springs are a great deal and look amazing.
