Accidental transmission abuse
So I was going up a hill in 2nd gear in my automatic 2nd gen yaris sedan, and when I tried to put it back in D it went all the way to neutral for a split second before I put it back in D. My foot was on the gas, it rev'd pretty loud but it didn't seem to jerk like you would expect when it went back in D. No tire chirps or anything.
What I want to know: will the ECU prevent things like this from damaging the trans? Gotta stop the accidental natural drops lol. |
