Pardon my lack of knowledge, but since I would like to do this as well, I have a few questions.

1. It appears that the stock speakers don't attach with screws but actually need to be cut out of a speaker holder?

2. How did you attach the new speakers to the speaker hole? Did your speakers come with that black circular mounting bracket?

3. Did you run new speaker wires to the head unit?

I've seen a few threads on how to remove the door panels so that seems not too bad. Thanks for your input! I love seeing all your progress.
